Damaged TV Screen

my 46" flat screen tv was hit by a wii remote and now has a large black area with thin colored lines. Can this be fixed? If so, how how much would it cost?

You are going to have to check with some of the local shops to see if they can even fix it.

I have a bad feeling the screen(panel it self seems to be damaged) will cost more than it is worth to fix.

yep that's definitely a crack in the screen...It can be replaced but the screens in tvs actually cost more than the tv itself...best bet is to try to find the exact tv online somewhere with something fried in the electronics and pull the screen from that one. If that's not an option I guess its time for a new tv
