I checked, and this is what you have to do:
First, if the seller doesn't uncheck this in his setup,
it's added to your cart automatically. So, that's why
it was there w/o you doing anything to get it. However,
it is added to the cart just like any other item, so you
have the option to "remove" it, just like any other item.
I'm looking at it now. If I check the [x] (box in the
"Remove" column) and press "Update Cart" ... the eDS
thing is gone -- no trace of it.
Now I go back and remove this from the setup, and, as
it was, the eDS thing is now and option to add; it's
not already added (I don't like opt-outs, either).
If you want to know what I think happened, you tried
to change the quantity, but you can't. For the eDS
thing it's always "1". You have to [x] the remove
box and update the cart.
