I've been trying to help my roommate with a kinda weird problem he's having with his Dell Studio laptop. He has a large dead area on the side of his screen and a much smaller one at the bottom. http
/ He's running Windows Vista and it seems to me that the OS is detecting the wrong size for the screen. I wasn't too sure of what to try, but when I took a screen shot, it came out as a 1024x768 sized picture showing only the working parts of the screen, like the dead parts didn't even exist. Let me know if you need anymore info.
