Hello! I am currently seeking a headsets, preferably wireless, below $100. I am planning to use these headsets mostly for the quality audio for gaming and watching movies on Netflix on my PS4, because of family is really loud, so I have trouble listening to the sound coming out of my TV and I don't like to raise the volume too much. And talking to my friends on Teamspeak of course. I came down with four different headsets that I think will suit me well, but maybe you guys can recommend something more suitable:

To be honest, most "gaming" headsets aren't renowned for their superb audio quality, but with that being said, I've heard some good things about the HyperX Cloud II headset. The problem with a lot of gaming headsets is that a lot of the cost actually comes from them trying to design a 'cool, gamer-centric' aesthetic and not as much time on the actual speakers. I've never personally owned a pair of "gaming" headphones, so take what I said with a grain of salt as I can't really say for sure: just what I've heard of them.

Thanks for the response! I have a question, however. Would the sound quality be different when I connect the Hyper Cloud II to my controller compared to when it is connected to the USB port on my PS4?

As far as I know, the sound quality should be more or less the same with USB or 3.5mm into your controller. It's all dependent on the components in the headphones themselves rather then the means that you connect it, especially with digital audio. Hopefully this helps.
