I have a MSI P45-NEO2 mobo.
Now, the board works great, it serves me well for what I need despite being a little older.

So, the problem that I am having is the motherboard utility that comes with it. Named Dual Core Center. This thing controls everything on the clocks for the CPU. It works great, except, every so often an error message pops up.

It says Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library on the title of the window. The message is:

Debug Assertion Failed!
Program: C:\Program Files(x86)\DualCoreCenter\DualCoreCenter.exe
File: mtex.cpp
Line: 107

For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserty.

(Press Retry to debug the application)

Now, if I click on ignore, the message goes away and the program runs fine.

The real problem is, the message pops up at the worst times sometimes =D

And I just want it to stop.

I've tried debugging the program with VisStudio 10 but I can't decipher assembly programs very well, besides, I don't have the source code either lol...

A quick google search yields nothing on this...

Any ideas? :bounce:

Solution
You need to contact the provider of that utility and get a newer version. They should never have released a debug complied copy in the first place!
