Oh yea, UT2k4 still rules! SO much better than UT3 was.

[citation][nom]De La NoChe[/nom]We are still Playing Counter Strike 1.6 ... look at steam stats for top 3 played games for today:58,946 74,495 Counter-Strike: Source55,645 73,468 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 MP48,823 61,508 Counter-Strike LOL CS:S has more players than MW2! Funny how CS 1.6 is third and its release date was 1999! Reason being the game-play is flawless and competitive (and Vavle takes care of their community like non other with updates and what not!!!). Halo is so for 12 year old kids who live with their parrents! Doesnt matter what version they play . Console + FPS = Fail[/citation]

Im kinda tired of CS 1.6

Ive been playing it since beta 3.

But I left when all the noobs poored in as they released v1.0

I just cant stand it today.

[citation][nom]kriswitak[/nom]Did anyone tell them that they can buy it for the PC and play it online?[/citation]

I don't think that's the point.

Halo2 is by far the crappiest online game. Every time I went on it on xbox live (on the 360), head shot out of nowhere all the time. Obviously this game has a lot of cheaters in it doing wall hacks. Good riddance but then again I don't buy xbox live any more either. Total waste of time.

[citation][nom]jodrummersh[/nom]Civilization 3 anyone? Yep, still playing it.[/citation]

I think there have been 8 iterations since then and really very little has been added. It's essentially the same game from what I can tell. I just remember Civ II, Civ II: Call to Power, Civ II: Call to Power 2. All essentially the same game....a great game, but still the same game.

Keep up the good work my gamer friends keep it alive as much as possible. Hell unlike most these days I still play my retro games, sporting an n64. As for the pc I have a few dedicated rigs for Glide games like the original Quake games.

cs 1.6 is still the best fps imo, and many will agree with me... the money system basically makes it that much more complicated if you play competitive and not this infinite money pub css crap.

[citation][nom]touchdowntexas13[/nom]I have it for the pc and have yet to get it working correctly. Granted I am playing on a laptop, but the mouse movement is extremely hard to deal with. A while back I spent a week trying to figure out a fix for the sketchy mouse controls but never found anything. I haven't played since then.Anyways, I don't see anything wrong with what these people did. I don't think it was about pissing Microsoft off, or even about how they can't live without Halo 2. I think it was just their tribute to one of the best XBL games ever. They will pull the plug soon enough. I'm sure of it.[/citation]

I had the same problem, to fix it force V-sync. I could bump up my mouses sensitivity to the max and it never helped, as soon as I forced the game to use v-sync through my video drivers (I didn't see the option inside the game) BAM, works great.

Really? I wanna say I had tried that and it never worked at least for me. I plan on building a new pc this summer, so I will install it on the new machine and give it another go then.
