default boot device missing

i hav a problem on my gateway ne572 a blue popup open default boot device missing or boot failed every time when i start my sy

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to load in BIOS and check if the HDD is listed or not.
- If the HDD is not listed you'll need to open the laptop and remove the HDD off the laptop then put it back in and see if it will boot up normally.
- But if the HDD is listed in BIOS you need to reinstall Windows.
- Next to try is to reset BIOS to defaults, press F9 and that should reset it to defaults then press F10 to save and exit.
- If it will still not work do set the HDD as the 1st boot device. If it will still not work proceed with reinstalling Windows.
- But if Windows will still not load and you'll get the same problem then the HDD needs to be replaced already.

Main problem is I cannot enter in BIOS
