I've been checking out these 2 laptops :

DELL 7559 i7 vs Lenovo Y700 i7

The specs are pretty much the same.

What I can't find is a comparison on the screens.

Can anyone comment on which screen is better for graphic design.

Ive read the DELL is not as bright, but the gamut coverage is better then the y700.

I know this is a late reply. But if you havent decided yet. I personally just bought the lenovo. But not for graphic design.
The dell has a better battery and a better screen. You could also buy the xps 15 from dell with the closest RGB arcording to adobe. It is 300 dollars expensiver but would make the cut. it had probably the best screen for an ultrabook (an has ddr4 ram instead of ddr3l)

I bought the lenovo for the ddr4 (7995 only got ddr3l, and is not upgradable to ddr4). Mine is ment for music production on a budget.
Hi,

Here's what I got for those 2 laptop. Both laptops has different options for a screen.

DELL 7559 i7:
http://www.dell.com/ph/p/inspiron-15-7559-laptop/pd
LED Backlit Anit Glare Display with HD resolution (1366 x 768)
LED Backlit Anit Glare Display with IPS FHD resolution (1920 x 1080)
LED Backlit Truelife Display with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and touch features

Lenovo Y700 i7
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y700-series/y700-15-inch/
Frameless Full HD (1920 x 1080) or
Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) 16:9 IPS Anti-Glare

I would go for the Lenovo laptop with Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) 16:9 IPS Anti-Glare which is better for graphics designing.

hi,

They both are both IPS FHD, so UHD is out. The confusing part is that in various reviews they say totally different things about the screens.
