Dell docking station and microsoft PS2 keyboard

Hello,
I have plugged my ps2 microsoft multimedia keybord to the dell docking station. I have installed the drivers....BUT the notebook does not recognise it. Any ideas ?

Restart with the keyboard plugged in to docking station, it may take a min or two for it to detect properly. Why not use a USB keyboard?
