Solved! Dell doesnt knwo anything gtx260m or 4870m better?

the m15x comes with the gtx260m for 1400$ the m17x comes with the 4870 for 1800$. dell tells me that the gtx260m is better but all the benchmarks tell me that the 4870m is i need to know the truth on which is better also the 3dmark05 scores are higher on the 4870 please someone help me i need to order the computer today

In the desktop world, both are at par.. However in the notebook world, the mobility radeon 4870 seems to beat out the gtx 260m comprehensively..

An underclocked 4870 still beats an 8800GT. That's pretty close to the desktop equivalents.
