Dell E1505 Laptop Max Memory Config.

Ok, i have serahced high and low to find and anwser to if the E1505 Dell Laptop with a Core Duo T2400 Proc, Intel 945GM Chipset will allow for 4 Gigs. max Memory. All i want to know is if anyone has actually done it and worked. I know about the whole limitiation between 32 bit and 64 bit, and i know on Dell's website it states max memory of 2 Gigs. Im just simply looking if anyone that has done this themselves. Thank you.

Hello, Yes I have added 4Gb into both my Dell e1505 Laptops and its runs great.

I tried the same thing. I have a bad slot, so I got a 2gb stick. I get a message that says memory was added, but it may need to be re-seated...

Did you do anything special to get this to work? I ordered a 2GB PC2-4200-533 DDR2 and received a
2GB PC2-4200S-444-12. The stick isn't working....I only have one good slot, so I'm trying this as a fix to get my laptop back up to 2GB.
