Hello.

I have an issue with my laptop for the past few days.

It isn’t loading me internet on chrome, but the WiFi say it’s good and when I ping 8.8.8.8 on cmd it goes perfect.

But chrome doesn’t load me, just a few times. But it’s unstable.

It only happens with WiFi, with the cable everything loads fine.

What can be causing this?

Nope, would not that delete my files?

Btw, yesterday I wanted to attach a file on gmail, and the internet stops when doing it. So apparently it is any upload that stops my laptop WiFi from working (the pings to google and 8.8.8.8 goes perfectly)

What could cause this? Why the WiFi stops working when uploading? I don’t understand.

When uploading with cable it works perfect.

Btw the mcafee scan I think only detect viruses, don’t know if it detects malware? Either way, it didn’t find anything bad.

System restore points (not a full system restore) will not erase your files. All it is doing is restoring the computer to an earlier time. If you are worried about files you recently added, then you can back them up off the computer, do the restore, and then readd them to the computer.

Well it may depend on what you are trying to upload. If it is a big file that could be just gmail. They have limitations. It cold also be something your ISP has input on your account, if you have been flagged by them as transferring files that aren't supposed to be (say copies of pirated stuff). I have seen some ISPs do that.

If the ISP did that it will affect every computer, not just this laptop over WiFi I think
