Dell Inspiron arrow keys not working properly

I own a Dell Inspiron N5110 and the arrow keys are completely messed up. The up and left keys are seemingly not working at all, but what's interesting is that when I hold the up and left arrow keys at the same time then press down or right, it will type either a 1 or a 0. Up and left + down is a 0, and up and left + right is a 1. (When the arrow keys did work properly, sometimes they wouldn't work together)

EDIT: Num lock has to be off in order for it to type the numbers

It's a laptop, plus I'm not really that amazing with technology.

I've also seen other people have similar problems and they've said they've tried that but it didn't work.

I think this is a problem across most Inspiron models.

try another keyboard. all you have to do is plug it into a usb port. you cannot ignore the easiest, most important troubleshooting step because you read something on the internet.

Ok, plugged in a new keyboard. Turns out arrow keys worked fine, so I guess it's a hardware issue. Any way to fix it?

yeah, definitely a hardware problem then. replace.
