Dell inspiron m1330 frozen curser at windows 7 start up

Hi, My Inspiron M1330 has frozen curser after start up. The arrow is stuck right dead center of screen. If I start in safe mode it's fine. This is a anytime upgrade win. 7 pro o.s. Should I download a touch pad driver from Dell Support and try that... done, no change. ??
