Dell Inspiron Problems

I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 Model: PPI from 1998, I let it charge after being in storage. Then After I charge it, The Battery light blinks then the Power light blinks. I have no Idea what this means, and I have been looking on the internet but still can't find anything. Please help.

So basically the laptop is sitting there,not being charge or turn on for 5 months?
