Dell Laptop Not Booting Up

I have a Latitude 3540 and lately somethings been wrong with it when it comes to using it. When i turn it on it shows the Dell logo, then the Windows 8 logo, but then a greyish black screen. Waiting out the time does nothing and I recently did a system reset, any help?

Hi,

What happen after you did a System Reset with your laptop? Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Put the AC adapter back in then power it on. If this doesn't work reseat all the RAM stick from the laptop. Remove them all then see if it will make any difference. Lastly, do a factory reset with it using a disc or a bootable USB.
