Dell laptop screen change

I have changed my broken WXGA screen with a WXGA+ screen as well as the cable.I am having problems with the quality of the image displayed on the screen, could someone please help.

What sort of issues with the image quality? Reduced resolution? Artifacts? The more info, the more likely we'll be able to help you out.

on the resolution of 1440x900 the writing is very small and the screen looks as though it is dirty and it doesnt show lines very clear.if i change the resolution the writing becomes blury

As someone who has performed one laptop screen swap, I feel comfortable saying this... I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN! EVER!!! That was the most miserable experience with a Lenovo Thinkpad I've ever had... and I'm honestly amazed the machine worked when I put it back together. I probably took 40 screws out of that thing (per the IBM repair manual)
