DEll Latitude E6500 now crackles

We have had Dell Latitude E6500 laptops in our ofiice for more than three years. When we powered them up on Monday, the sound now crackles - we use docking stations with external speakers. All of the laptops are doing this. What do we need to do now?

If all of them started doing that, all of sudden, I would look arounf for something that generates (electrical) noise - elevator, microwaver etc.

Get one of these (with the docking station and speakers), and connect it at your home.
