Solved! Dell latitude e7250 touchpad won't work.

I was using a wireless mouse and after my cat walked across my keyboard, neither that or my touchpad would work. Even when I unplug the mouse, nothing works. Escape, arrow keys, etc aren't functioning so I can't navigate touchpad menus or control panel. I can't move the curser at all. How can I turn the touchpad back on? Or my wireless mouse?

Use a wired mouse or keyboard to navigate. You cat might have put a spell on your laptop because you always pay attention to only your laptop

Have you tried restarting the device (turn it off and back on) that simple step resolves so many issues.
