Dell logo appears too late

I own a dell Inspiron 3179, When I press the power button, it takes 13 seconds before the DELL logo appears on the screen...

Is this normal ? could it be because of hardware changes (I swapped out the HDD with a Crucial SSD)? or boot mode ? the BIOS is set to legacy mode...could that be the reason ?

Is it the boot time slower? Does the windows need to settle down longer?
If no I shouldn't worry.
From other instance of my question, usually CMOS battery is the culprit.

I also cannot save changes in the BIOS ... it takes 40 secs to boot into elementary OS desktop from button press...It MUST be the coin cell battery I guess...

The cmos battery keeps bios at life when the pc isnt started, but your PSU should provide the stand by voltage for the bios to hold these changes, but as other guy had similar problems with booting time, he replaced the battery and everything went well.
Try it.

Select the answer when you are sure that it is.
You don't need product code, if its newer system its just shiny 3V battery, like in watches, slim or fat it will fit.

Can I just buy the battery and replace the battery only ? and not the cable ?

The battery is functioning properly...I think I have to reset the CMOS...
