DELL LOPTOPS battery

I purchased new battery 6cell for my laptops 2 weeks ago but my laptop automatically going for shutdown every time when the power recharge is between 15% to 20%.and also i changed the sitting of power and it happened again.the new battery has problem?

Go to control panel -> Power options;
For the selected power plan, click on 'change plan settings'
Click on change advanced power settings.
The for the 'Battery' item - 'critical battery level' entry: you can change the percentage of battery life remaining for when the system shuts down.
