[citation][nom]DouglasThurman[/nom]That's what's wrong with this world. Too many people wanting something for nothing, or in this case $15. I've worked retail for 15 years and all I see are inconsiderate a-hole customers who don't care about anything but getting what they want. I don't go to your workplace and act that way. I say screw the customers and Taiwan and Dell should tell them that there will no longer be any orders accepted from Taiwan. Dell will lose less money in the long run. Good riddance to a-hole customers.[/citation]
people like you are what is wrong with teh world today , Customers make or break acompany yet to today companies every where are getting this mentality that customers OWE them for being thier customers. quite frankly i'm sick of this mentality it is why inflation has sky rocketed , it is why you have greedy companies making 200-300 + percent in profit when they could do damn fine on jsut a 50% profit. for those that dont understand
profit si teh money you make after the item's /or labor is paid for , say you make a watch it cost you 1 dollar to make in time and materials , a 50 % profit would be you selling it for %1.50 cents
youa re making 1.5 times more money than what it cost you , now look at joe blow corperations today , for isntance, shirt comapny cost to make 1 t shirt is say 2 dollars they turn around and sell said t-shirt for 4 or 6 dollars , they are making a 200 percent profit at 4 dollars or 300 percent profit at 6 dollars . you see where this picture is wrong ? it is greed , and a 200 percent or 300 percent profit margin is not needed for a company to survive or grow , a 50% profit would give them pleanty of money , but saddly most ever company that makes somethign today is aimign for 200-300 percent pprofit (i have worked at various retail chains and have seen teh read outs for what they buy , what it cost and how much they seel it for.)
your mentality is almsot eh same as a big companies. If youa sk me this shit happens to companies for areason , it's called Karma . and i wont cry one tear over Dell losing money cos teh truth is , more than afew of thier products are making WAAAYYY more porfit than what would be needed to cover the cost of this f--k up.
