Dell has announced they are coming out with a smartphone/tablet mix device called the Dell Streak that is supposedly going to take the nation by storm. Personally, I'm a bit skeptical about the thing.
First off, it's only got a 0.7" bigger screen than the Droid X, and it's only half as big as the iPad while costing more. And as a phone, it's about $100 more expensive.
Sure, it'd be nice to have a bigger screen on your smartphone, or to have a tablet that had the ability to make calls, but the Streak seems to do neither of those roles better than existing devices. Is the convenience of having both in the same device worth the premium?
