Dell Studio 1536 - no boot...

Hey,

I have a Dell Studio 1536 Laptop (AMD dual core processor), from 2008... anyway, at times the laptop can be off, then when you go to turn it on, the dash lights flash like normal, and it powers on, but nothing... a black dead screen.... then you pop the battery, unplug it and let it sit for a while, and it powers on like normal and everything is fine.... Does anyone have any ideas? My dad who was a semi-Dell tech for years is stumped....

Its probably a graphics/motherboard problem ....

Either get it diagnosesd at a lappy repair shop....

OR....leave it running 24/7...

did you try it only on battery without power cord, then close it unplug remove the battery after use the outlet power to start
