dell studio 1555 black screen

When i press the power button laptop screen is black.I removed ram and re-installed but nothing, i removed battery and hold the power button for 10 sec but still nothing, i plugged a second monitor through vga but still nothing.I noticed that the cpu fan doesn't work.I am afraid that the motherboard is dead
Please help !!!! anyone who knows more maybe help me.

Hi,

Before you consider that it's the motherboard try this last step. Do clean up the inside of the laptop. Make sure nothing is hitting the fan of the CPU, also if it's possible reapply a new thermal paste with the CPU and GPU. If all this still doesn't work clearly it's the motherboard.

I tried it but nothing.How i will recognise which component is defective

If you did all of the above and it still didn't help or fix the issue, Diagnosis points to failed motherboard unfortunately. The Dell Studio models are famous for having overheating problems which burn out the system board.

I prefer Dell because my old one served me well.
