dell vostro 1510 wont work when power on

my dell 1510 laptop wont work, when i press the power button the power led on for 5seconds and turns of no display, no beep sound and processor fan does no run

Try this: Remove the battery while leaving the AC cord plugged in. Try to power it on. Report back.
