Solved! Desktop freezing without warning

I've been having trouble with my PC freezing up and restarting recently. I get no warnings, it just freezes up then the screen turns mostly blue with white pixelations and eventually restarts. If I have audio playing, it stalls and produces a long buzzing sound. I've had it freeze up within an hour of restarting or last a couple of days. I've already followed the instructions here:

I've also updated my video card drivers and replaced two broken case fans.

Here are my specs:

Windows 8.1 64-bit
AMD Fx(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50GHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
Toshiba 1TB DT01ACA100
Western Digital 2TB WDC WD2002FAEX-007BA0

use minimal parts to test 1 ram module and remove the hdd that dont have os from system and boot .

I just had it crash again and it's a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. Does that generate a log somewhere that I can post?
