Desktop not connecting to Internet

I recently updated my avast Internet security and after being asked to restart my computer I am now unable to use any internet, it lets me connect to my network fine but it won't load any web pages or actually connect at all, while every other device I have connected to the same network is working and connecting fine. I am using windows 8.1 over a wifi signal and have already tried flushing my DNS, disconnecting and reconnection am restarting my modem.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated

I would uninstall avast and any other security products or firewalls. Windows defender and firewall are sufficient for almost everyone. At least do this for testing. If internet still doesn't work, you could try rolling back or updating drivers for your wifi card.
