Having troubles connecting to the internet through a TP-Link Wireless adapter, but getting strength signal: excellent.

Only recently this problem has popped up and I've been able to use the internet in previous occasions using the same method.

I go to CMD and type ipconfig /all and my IP address is 0.0.0.0 and DHCP is disabled apparently.

I went to network connections and right-clicked on both IPv4 and 6, there are both set to obtain an IP/DNS automatically.

I then went back to CMD and typed ipconfig/renew and it said that the media is disconnected so it's unable to retrieve a new IP for me.

I have also restarted the router and my PC, yesterday the internet was working fine and I haven't messed with it since.

Please help, thanks!

You need to enter to your router configuration page. Try entering in your browser 192.168.0.1 and go to advance configurations and see if there's an DHCP server or something like that.
