Diagram to connect Behringer europower EP1500 to equalizer ?

I need to run the Behringer EUROPOWER EP1500 amp to Behringer PMP3000 for floor monitor. Do I connect an equalizer between the EP1500 and monitors, or the PMP3000 and EP1500?

The monitor out of the mixer goes to the EQ input
The EQ output goes to the power amp input
