Dialaround Services - how are they billed?

A friend and fellow VZW customer needs to use a dial-around service to call
family in Cuba. Is it possible to use this with a VZW phone? If so, how
does the call get billed? Are there any VZW charges (aside from plan
minutes) applied?

Thanks

Just minutes of use. One possible problem...sometimes the CDMA
technology Verizon uses seems to interact with the other phone
equipment (D/A conversions?) on international calls, so calls don't
sound clear. This may include echoes and a warbley sound.

Don't expect landline quality. YRMV

You cannot use a "dial around" so called "10-10-XXX" CAC with any
cellular service. If you can find a service that either uses regular
POTS numbers (like Gorilla Mobile for instance) or uses a toll-free
800/888/877/866 number to access the service that will work. CACs
will not work with cell phones.
