directx 9 install may cause the unistall of my directx 11?

if i install directx 9, my newer versions of directx (directx11 currenlty installed)will be unistalled?Im asking cause im playing rome total war hegemonia city states patch and im experiencing without reason some lag issues so i thought it may be the newer versions of direct x that may not support the type of graphics engine that rome total war 1 includes!

No man it's not that. installation o direct x 9 wont create uninstall situation for your direct x 11. And direct x 11 is not creating lag in your game. And yes direct x 9 should already be installed in your system .
And there is nothing like that the direct x 11 does not support so the game will lag. If the game has direct x 11 features than it needs directx 11 installed on your system for running those features .
