Disconnecting from wifi

This worked at first https://ccm.net/faq/8019-acer-laptop-wi-fi-keeps-disconnecting but after a system reboot had to be done the boxes have been unticked but the laptop is still disconnecting the wifi, how do I resolve this issue?

Make and model of your laptop? An SKU would help us two fold. Are you on Windows 10? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your laptop's motherboard?

Oh hi there, didn't see there was a reply but thank you for it. I just know it's an Acer one but don't know how to find out the make or model. Not sure what an SKU is or the BIOS is but the really good news is figured out the problems and solutions:
1) This helped with the system restore for the Acer laptop.
2) This is for the wifi disconnecting by turning off power save.
3) For when this no longer worked followed a Youtube video to uninstall the wifi (but not delete it) then reinstall differently (point 1 on Youtube for wifi unrelated to power saving) worked.

Then updated my laptop and it crashed. Removed the battery to solve the black screen that stayed that way, tried refreshing the laptop and a system reboot https://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/BC/bcs4p14.html but the system reboot has now taken me to the point where the wifi keeps randomly disconnecting.

Unticking the power save no longer works and no idea what to do, really need help to make the laptop (it's back to 8.1) connect to wifi and stop that randomly disconnecting, and then get past the Star Wars loading screen if that returns once more.

This helped with the Star Wars mmo loading screen when it's stuck on that, and this if it goes to the top left of the screen
