DJ setup question

I have a behringer europower pmp2000d powered mixer and a set of behringer Eurolive VS1520 PA Speakers for a dj setup...but i can't seem to get enough power/volume ... is the powered mixer not big enough or are the speakers too small for the powered mixer?

This is odd. How have you got the inputs to the powered mixer set up? The wattage ratings seem fine. What sort of DJ'ing do you do? Ableton, CD's, Vinyl or mp3 via a controller? Are you using another mixer before the Behringer powered mixer?
