Do 3D bluray 5.1 home theater suport active sub woofer?

Anyone can advice do Sony S9200w ( 5.1 bluray hometheater ) can change the existing passive subwoofer to Active?

my current woofer level is so weak i plan to buy a active subwoofer ( subwoofer that build in Amp ) and connect to my 5.1 3D bluray player but i am not sure if this is work?

Theoretically yes.

You go howeverneed to,make sure you buy a sub that has 'speaker level inputs' rather than just a line level input & you are going to have to do a bit of manual cabling.
