Hi
My laptop is a dell alienware m17x.
For a month I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with my laptop.
After playing fifa 16 for 3 months without any problems now it plays in slow motion which is completely unplayable.
I just run a stress test on my laptop just an hour ago and whilst it was running my mouse was moving like the players on fifa 16, is this normal when running a test?
Has anyone got any ideas what the problem could be?
Many thanks

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by doing a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Once done, check Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed then test it again.
- If the same problem will persist do also run a complete virus/malware scan. Use the link below for the complete guide and tools.
- If all these will not work I would suggest reinstalling Windows as well.

Hi LN
I have already taken my laptop back to factory settings.
The first thing I did when everything was done was to install fifa 16 and it was exactly the same.
