Do i need a audio/mic splitter to ise my cloud 2's without the usb dac?

I am about to get a pair of Cloud 2's but first, i wanna know if you need a mic and audio splitter to use the mic and headphones without the usb dac. Or, can i just plug it in? If i can just plug it in, which port? Mic or Audio? Thanks!

You need a splitter. It only has single jack 3.5mm
Plugging in to mic port will only make the mic work and to audio will only make audio works

Ok. Can you check my mobo if it supports combo jacks first? My mobo is the Asus Z170 - A with the onboard sound as my sound card.

You need a splitter unless you have the combo port (Phone, Laptop, etc)

Most of them reported back that it works. I had an HDMI cable from StarTrek and SATA cable and they work flawlessly. The company is reliable and can be trusted. If you are still unsure you can add a sound card to your motherboard that support single jack port

Actually, wait. People are saying the mic is mono instead of stereo with the adapter. Is that true?
