I need to replace a couple of ICs following this guide: http
/k0lee.com/2011/05/fixing-a-sony-wega-with-6-or-7-blink-code/
The dude who wrote the guide just says to leave the TV unplugged overnight and doesn't mention worrying about being electrocuted, but I've read a bunch of stuff online about capacitors holding lethal charges.
So uh... should I be worried? Do I have to discharge capacitors? If so, how?
Any advice is appreciated.
My TV has been unplugged for a month now fwiw.
