Do need a new.internal power jack how much do you sell replacement for

Toshiba satellite i7 8 gb ram 1tb hdd my laptop keyboard and power led flash and system will not turn on so I'm going to try removing battery and if that don't work then i have to replace the power jack I had a neighbor work on it and he cut my power jack out for whatever reason I only needed my power button reconnected and now my laptop won't work just give me some information and ideas advice and some how to
