Hello,

My computers sound card isn't working I get static when plugging into the audio jack. This is a common problem with my motherboard and I was wondering if USB headsets have built -in internal audio. For example would I be able to buy a usb headset and get audio without my sound card working on my mobo? I'm looking at this headset in particular thanks! https://www.amazon.com/Channel-Surround-Headphones-Revolution-Canceling/dp/B01A0VQOCQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1476743880&sr=1-3&keywords=headset

Been using a set of these for over a year now; very good for gaming, excellent microphone, and completely self contained - that is the inline control box does all the work like your sound card does.

They are not the greatest for classical music, but not bad for the price.
They come with a cd with a program for 7.1 surround but I have found that Windows audio works just fine and have never installed the 'driver'.
