Does anyone still use old OS's like Vista and XP just for the sake of it?

I have a Win98 gaming PC I recently played Thief on.
I have a Win XP machine and a Win 7 machine just collecting dust at the moment.

I am using couple of old software packages (with awkward copy protection) which were not upgraded past XP, so they reside inside a XP VM.
