I have a core i7 4510u which I am positive it can run all games with 30+ fps, but I have its integrated graphics only the intel HD graphics 4400 which has 1GB of VRAM, so does increasing my ram from 4GB 1600Mhz SDDR3L SATA to 8GB help out in games, knowing that the increase for me is free and so is the laptop, but I can't get anything like an eGPU .
PC specs:
Core i7 4510u 2.6GHZ
Intel HD graphics 4400 (Integrated)
4GB 1600MHZ SDDR3L SATA RAM
500GB WD Blue HDD
OS:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Laptop Model:
Asus X552LAV

Solution
NO Increasing ram does not increAse vram
increasing ram helps in gaming however its mAin purpose is to improve the computer performAce

vram is the type of rAm used in grAphics card which helps in increasing gamin performance

however you cannot upgrade graphics card in your laptop, but increasing ram helps improve overall performance
