Does the Toshiba A100 have display lid switch

Does the Toshiba A100 have display lid switch Mine has no Display on internal or external monitor after being in sleep mode. On start up the hard drive blinks on for one second then nothing.
IfF12 pushed still no display also battery ok and power supply working fine

You can usually tell by (briefly) closing the lid and look see as you reopen it.
