Does this laptop suit me?

I'd like to purchase a laptop sometimes this month and I have found some pretty good deals, main use of this laptop will be gaming (High settings is fine) for games like GTA 5, FIFA15, CS:GO and emulators (mostly pcsx2 and Dolphin), and some other games aswell.

The laptop I'm eyeing is:


DELL:

CPU: i7 4510u

GPU: GT 840m 2GB)

RAM: 8GB

OS: Win 8.1

HDD: 1TB

Keep in mind that, I can't get a desktop computer or build due to personal issues so please, no mention of it.

In my opinion, not really no. I suggest you look fpr a laptop with a gtx 950m at least, because the new gen of graphics cards are out, you'll get better performance out of it none the least. Although, I bet you will be able to at least run GTA V at lowest settings.
