Okay, So i have a A960D+ motherboard and on the website of Biostar it says nothing about "Core Unlocking" however, after flashing to the latest bios in my bios cpu configuration there is an option called "Core Leveling" this shows my current 2 cores and when i set it to manual, it gives me the option to either enable or disable these cores, my question is , I've ordered an Amd athlon ii x3 450, and I want to know if this option will allow me to unlock the fourth core? if anyones had any experience with this this will be helpful, I'm hoping when I add the athlon ii x3 450 it will show 4 cores in the core leveling and allow me to unlock the fourth core if I'm lucky..
Anyway thanks, if this doesnt work I'm happy with the x3 450 despite it being old it will suffice.
