This makes me want to go cancel my TV service right now, if it wasn't for Game of Thrones (and many other showsA)... Trust me I know I can torrent it, but if everyone torrented it and didn't watch it directly, there would not be a next season.

It costs the companies money for bandwidth, but the markup is huge.

The reason they put up a fight is because they want to maintain their margins, and they honestly fear that if they increase bandwidth, people will actually use it.

[citation][nom]t2couger[/nom]Cable companies need to grow up. I canceled my TV portion of my service because i am sick of paying the ever hiking prices on limited content and rampant advertisements. internet only is the way to go no advertisements and unlimited content is the way to go. If i could go around the local cable company i would unfortunately they have a monopoly in my local area.[/citation]

20 minutes of commercials for 30 minutes of contents and 10 minutes of actual contents. And let's not forget that commercials can barge in whenever they like.

No. I think I'll stick with Youtube. Thank you very much.
