Hey guys,

I was inspecting my dad's 8 years old Laptop..

It's Acer Aspire 4930..

It has a seal printed on its base which shows the details of the Laptop..

It has a DDR2 Mobo

But I ended up with NVIDIA logo printed on it..

I checked the details in dxdiag and Device manager it shows "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter"

So, I know I can fix this by installing the latest Display Driver but I don't know the model of the Graphics Adapter..

How can I find out the model of the GPU?

Solution
Hello... the "G" model is the Nvidia equipped one... it can have either card in... one has GDDr3 and the other DDR2...
The Non-G is an intel Video chip http://www.notebook-driver.com/specs/acer-aspire-4930-notebook-technical-specifications/

Typically the intel and NVidia software will check for compatibility before a driver is installed... and inform you.
