doubt ill get an answer but i need to find out whats wrong with my kodak camera .

Okay so i turn it off now after 2 very long recordings which worked fine BTW.
I shut it off and turn it on now and it only lights up for a second ,it flashes the reg screen for about a plit second.
It then shuts off automatically.everytime.
I cant get it to work at all.
Can a quik shock to the camera ,like when i filmed me riding my dirt bike i hit a pothole and it may have jerked it quikly???
This is the only thing i can think of i have ried everything ,next to aking it apart,which will be next i guess...

It sounds like something electromechanical - the sudden jerking when you hit the pothole might have jarred something loose.

How long after the 'long recording session' and when you tried to turn it back on?
May be heat related.

Failing that....the jar from going through the pothole may have done it.
