Downloaded office professional and not there

So i downloaded office professional 2013 and its all just one big file with everything. Where is the real program, like word

And you have to actually install it. Then you will see all the different pieces.

Well....the terminology makes a difference. Downloading and installing are two different things.

What OS are you using?
Installed properly, and you should see some icons for the different applications.

Not trying to correct you, just making sure we're on the same page.
But, as I don't know squat about Mac's, my assistance will be limited.

As said....you should have icons for the different applications. What are you actually seeing?

Word is an Office program and is part of Office, you can't have gotten the Office setup from Word.

Did you install it from a DVD? Get the full setup from a link after you purchased Office? Did you read the instructions that should have been part of the package?
