Just bought a new laptop with Windows 7, installed my Canon Rebel 300D software but the drivers won't work. Where and how can I download drivers that will work,
Thanks

Thanks, I did talk to Canon support. They told me they do not have drivers available, however they gave me some ideas, had me change some settings on my camera and it worked!

what exactly do you mean by software. Is in DPP, Image viewer or zoom browser. (or the whole package)

Canon 300D CD and software version are very old. The problem with this case is that canon does not allow new donwload of latest DPP versions but allows free updates.

And your 300D software cd is not compatible.

here is a work around

follow the article..it works like a charm. No worries to change setting in camera. hope this helps

What settings did you hve to change on your 300D to make it work?
